Guarantee
The guarantee, in full.
One page, no fine print: what triggers the credit, how it is applied, and what does not count.
When it applies
A signed milestone date, missed on us.
Every engagement fixes its milestones and their dates in writing before work begins. If one of those dates passes and the cause sits with the studio, the guarantee is triggered. It is tied to dates we control, not to how a project feels along the way.
What you receive
An automatic 10% credit.
You receive an automatic 10% credit of that milestone's fee, applied to your next invoice. When there is no further invoice to credit — a missed final milestone — the credit is refunded within 14 days instead. The word automatic is the point: you file nothing, and there is no dispute process to enter. The credit is the studio's own accounting, applied by the studio, without you having to ask. The amount owed is computed by the same open proof tool that tracks the milestones — a slipped date in the delivery ledger yields the figure; it is arithmetic you can reproduce, not a number we assert.
What does not count
Delay we did not cause.
A delay caused on the client side — waiting on access, approvals, decisions, or content — does not trigger the credit. Neither do changes to scope that we agree to together, which move a date by mutual choice rather than by a missed commitment. The guarantee covers dates the studio owns, honestly attributed.
When it starts
From the first milestone of the first engagement.
There is no probationary period and no tier that opts out. The same terms that would apply to the hundredth client apply to the first — the guarantee is in force from the very first signed date of the very first engagement.
This page describes the guarantee in plain language. The operative terms — what triggers the credit, how cause is attributed, and how it is applied — live in the engagement agreement you sign; where the two differ, the signed agreement governs.
Why it is written down
Published terms beat negotiated ones.
A guarantee you can read before you talk to us is worth more than one you would have to argue for after — so the terms are here, in plain language, the same for everyone who reads them.
